The Me-262 Swallow

Thank you, that is a great site. The pictures of the swallow are very hard to come by. It is really interesting that a company in TX is making the Swallow again. Isn't that neat? One of the pics below is one of the ones they made.

Nice picture. What made them decide to make this plane again? Is it a hobby for them or is there a renewed interest in this little fighter?

I think that it is from renewed interest. I've read that it is an extremely advanced plane in spite of the age of the design. If Hitler hadn't made it a bomber and let them use it as a fighter like it was designed for, the war might have gone differently. He allowed its use as a fighter way late in the war, and by that time it was too late for it to make a difference.

The bomber models had a glazed nose in which a bomb aimer laid down in.
