The Flying T-Rex (IMO at least)
It is ugly. It is tough and its nose looks a lot like a T-Rex. It is slow, heavy and packs a punch. It was designed to destroy tanks. Can you guess what it is?

I don't think it's ugly. In fact, I think it's one of the neatest-looking airplanes from WWII. My forum picture is a Henchel hs 129.
Interesting little plane
Yes. I can see why you call it the T-rex of airplanes.
It looks like this little plane was a valuable piece of military equipment for the Germans.

By all accounts, performance results of the system proved sublime, with the Hs 129 accounting for the destruction of hundreds of Soviet tanks, particularly at the battle of Kursk in 1943. The Hs 129 proved to be a valuable asset in the close-support role, capable of engaging even the most stubborn of Allied armor with an array of cannons, machine guns and bombs.

Yeah, when I said ugly I didn't intend it to sound negative, I meant it as a compliment, I think the plane looks really nice. I almost chose the header picture, but decided against it because I thought it would be more interesting to have some different ones in my thread.
